Create a project
Every score lives in a project. Here are the ways to start one.
Go to Music Block Studio and press New score. The arrow next to it has more ways to start:
- Compose from scratch: start empty and describe what you want in the chat, for example "a 16-bar blues in A for guitar and bass".
- Import a file or Import a scan: see Import sheet music.
- Open from your library: music you saved from ChatGPT, see Music saved from ChatGPT.
- Start from a sample: one of the gallery examples, to see what the editor can do.
Projects save automatically. The status next to the title shows when the latest change was saved.
Duplicate a project
Press Clone in the editor header to make a copy and open it. Use it to try a different arrangement without touching the original.
