Edit the score with AI
Three ways to tell the assistant what to change.
Chat
Describe any change in the chat, in your own words. The assistant edits the score and explains what it did.
Things you can ask for:
- "Add a bass line that follows the chords"
- "Make bars 5–8 more syncopated"
- "Transpose everything to D major"
- "Show the melody as guitar TAB in drop D"
Ask AI on a selection
Select a bar or a beat on the score, press Ask AI and say what should change right there. The assistant only touches what you selected.
Ask AI is available on desktop. On a phone, use pins (below).
Pin several spots
Pin bars or beats into one message and the assistant changes them all at once. Pins appear as chips in the message box, in the order you wrote them.
On a phone: switch to Score, tap notes and pin them, then switch back to Chat to write your message.
Credits
Each message uses credits. Large compositions show an estimate and ask before they start. See Credits and plans.
